Having a wonderful time.....wish you were here!

We've been enjoying our time here on Samui immensely and will be returning for two months again next year.

Our friends Mick and Susanna arrived on Jan 18th and we'll be returning home together on the 1st of Feb.  Mick celebrated his 65th birthday here on the 24th and we had an incredible day.  We booked the longtail boat trip and dinner at our favourite restaurant.

On the boat trip we went snorkeling amongst small fish and it was incredibly fun!  We even convinced Susanna to snorkel for the first time.  Afterwards we toured in the boat around the five islands with caves and huts.

Dinner as usual was amazing.  This was the fifth time we've had dinner here and it's always excellent. We decided to sit at a table right on the beach this time.  This tour included transportation so no one had to be designated driver and we could all celebrate....which we most certainly did.

Aussies visit!

Danny's brother Frank, and his wife Janette live in Australia and flew in to Samui on December 26th and are staying in a bungalow a few houses away from us.  Their stay was for two weeks and they will be going home in a couple of days.

We've visited Wats (temples) with them.

On Saturday, January 3rd, we chartered a longtail boat and went fishing, snorkeling and swimming in various spots. It was a perfect day!
